Dinacharya (दिनचर्या) is a concept in Ayurveda that refers to the daily routine or daily rhythm one should follow to maintain health, harmony, and balance in life. The term comes from Sanskrit:
“Dina” means day
“Charya” means routine or conduct
Purpose of Dinacharya:
Dinacharya aligns your lifestyle with nature’s cycles, especially the rhythms of the sun and moon, promoting:
Good digestion
Mental clarity
Strong immunity
Peaceful sleep
Balanced doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
A Typical Dinacharya (Daily Ayurvedic Routine):
1.Wake up during Brahma Muhurta (approx. 4:30–5:30 AM)
Ideal time for meditation, reflection, and connecting with higher energy

5.Bathing
Refreshes the body and removes oil and toxins
6.Exercise/Yoga
