Meet Dr. Gitanjali Thapa

Dr. Gitanjali Thapa is a distinguished Ayurvedic practitioner, whose academic journey in Ayurveda began with a comprehensive 4.5-year BAMS degree from TMAE Society’s Ayurvedic Medical College. She followed it with a year-long internship at SDM Ayurvedic Medical College, Hassan, under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Medical Science, Karnataka, completed in 2012.

 

Her professional career is marked by a rich tapestry of experiences, including an insightful exposure to Panchakarma procedures at the National Institute of Panchakarma, CCRAS, Kerala. Dr. Thapa further augmented her expertise in modern medicine and hospital operations at Silver Oaks Hospital in Mohali, Chandigarh. Her tenure at Kuria’s Earth Ayurvedic Centre and Santhigram Wellness in Gurugram honed her skills in classical medicines and Panchakarma therapies.

 

Dr. Thapa's dedication to her field continued through voluntary service at the Regional Ayurvedic Hospital in Shimla, where she gained valuable insights into government healthcare systems. Complementing her Ayurvedic expertise, Dr. Thapa has also pursued advanced training in yoga, acquiring a certification from the Aviyog Group, endorsed by the Educational Board of Vocational Training and Research, Government of Maharashtra.

 

Her journey reflects a deep commitment to Ayurveda, blending traditional wisdom with contemporary practices for holistic well-being.
